Lizzie McGuire having a new series?!

Recently, there was word that Lizzie McGuire will have a new series, set in college. The said new Lizzie show, Lizzie McGuire: College Life was planned for a 2012 airing on Disney Channel. Also said was Hilary Duff would reprise her role as Lizzie and the series will begin filming this Fall. It's currently unknown what else was said about the upcoming production.

"Jessie" premiering this Friday!

If you loved Debby Ryan back in The Suite Life on Deck, you'll love her more in her new show "Jessie", about a recent HS graduate who heads off to New York to be a teen nanny to 4 children! Follow her adventures in teen babysitting starting this Friday (9/30) at 8pm on Disney Channel.

Funny enough, after Kamen Rider Fourze's debut, this comes along. this is the 3rd time a Disney Channel Original and a Toku debuted in the same month, again, after a few weeks/days. the 1st being Sonny With a Chance alongside Samurai Sentai Shinkenger (2009) and the Disney Channel Original Movie StarStruck alongside Tensou Sentai Goseiger (2010).

Debby Ryan's "Jessie" begins production

The Disney Channel has begun production on its new series “Jessie,” which stars Debby Ryan from “The Suite Life On Deck.” In the show, set to premiere in the fall, Debby plays a teen who moves from Texas to New York City and becomes a nanny for a high-profile couple’s four children.

Also starring in the show are:
- Kevin Chamberlin (Broadway’s “The Addams Family”) as Bertram, the butler
- Peyton List (“27 Dresses,” “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules”) as 13-year-old Emma
- Karan Brar (“Diary of a Wimpy Kid,” “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules”) as 10-year-old Ravi

GouKaiGer casting rumors + 2nd Mecha rumor

The official poster of the upcoming Super Sentai Series which commemorates 35 years of heroes,Kaizoku Sentai Goukaiger has been revealed!

In this poster, we saw the five Goukaigers, their combined mecha, GoukaiOh and GoukaiRed posing crossing his weapons, GoukaiGun and GoukaiSabre. While on the background are the other 34 previous Red Rangers from Aka Ranger of Goranger to GoseiRed of Goseiger. Is it me, or Tyranno Ranger is besides with ShinkenRed (PR reference!)?

Aside from that, more casting rumors regarding this new series has been revealed! Most of them came from the talent agency, Amuse which ispretty rare to happen considering that most Sentai cast members came from various talent agencies.

Aside from casting rumors, it is revealed that Goukaiger will have its own figure line! The first sets includes, DekaRed, MagiRed, GaoRed, HurricaneRed, ShinkenRed and Tyranno Ranger. The first three wererevealed that their mecha will be part of Goukaiger's additional mecha called, GoukaiMachines. Accordingly, they are the first because they are the popular Reds to kids.

Seeing Tyranno Ranger on the line, it might confirm this four day old rumor regarding a 2nd mecha combo. Accordingly, the second robo combo will be based on animal mecha coming from the previous teams in which the Goukaigers will meet. Those animals are:

Red - Tyrannosaurus
Blue - Shark
Yellow - Lion
Pink - Bird
Green - Dragon

Take these rumors as a grain of salt. Let's just wait for official confirmation coming from official sources.

More Goukaiger Toys info + Conception of GouKaiOh

GoukaiOh is made up of:

- GoukaiGalleon (Red), which forms the body and head.

- a Racecar (Green), which forms the left arm

-a Fighter plane (Blue), which forms the right arm and Pirate Hat

-A Trailer (Yellow), which forms the left leg

-A Submarine (Pink), which forms the right leg


When a dial is turned on the back of GoukaiOh, 5 "Caps" appear on the front side of the robot. Cannons attach/emerge from the caps, and the robot enters its "Hissatsu Form". The caps are located on the chest, arms and legs, so when the cannons open up, it gives you the feeling of a galleon opening fire. Additional parts can be installed onto the caps. GoukaiOh is said to resemble GrandLiner.




GoukaiMachine Series:

Composed of MagiDragon (2,500 yen), PatStriker (3,000 yen) and GaoLion (4,500 yen). These mechs can attach to GoukaiOh's caps, changing its forms.

-When combined with MagiDragon, a Dragon's Face is seen in the body. The front side of the feet also show dragon's feet-and-claws. This form is called MagiGoukaiOh.

-When combined with PatStriker, the body has a clear-look/PatoLamp appearence, as there is a luminesence gimmick, as well as tires being seen in some of the caps. Form is tentatively called DekaGoukaiOh.

-GaoLion can combine with GoukaiOh in two ways. The first, is in a Centaur Form (Kentaurus Gattai), as it did in Gaoranger. The form is tentatively called GaoGoukaiOh.
It also has a "Great Gattai" form, which is a humanoid form, but it is sillouhetted in the toy catalogue. Has a voice gimmick.

Cheaper version of old robos with Mugenbine-like joints Included so far are EnjinOh, MagiKing and GaoKing.



Henshin Keitai Mobirates:

A folding-type cell phone henshin device. Keypad on bottom half, screen on top half. When the Goukaiger keys are inserted, the upper part is transformed, becoming the Goukaiger mark. Example- When the ShinkenRed Key is inserted, the Mobirates sounds "Samurai Sentai Shinkenger Iza Mairu!". There is many different sounds, as stated, 190 listed.


Ranger Keys:

-Small figures of each of the past reds, and also of all 5 Goukaiger used for transformation.By folding at the back, the figure becomes a key. Using the keys, there are about 190 sounds the Mobirates can make. Red seems to come with the Mobirates, Blue and Yellow seem to come with the belt, Green comes with the GoukaiGun, and Pink comes with the GoukaiSword. There is a legendary 5 set, including 5 Red Ranger Keys, and the MagiRed key will come with MagiDragon.

Goukaiger Suits revealed!

To celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the Super Sentai franchise, we welcome the newest addition to this long running tradition of heroes, the free spirited squad of pirates, the Kaizoku Sentai Goukaigers! On top is the first official picture of the 2011 Super Sentai team!

The core members of Kaizoku Sentai Goukaiger is said to came from a different dimension, who wonders the sea of time and space riding their mothership, called GouKaiGalleon, which transforms into this season's main robo, GouKaiOh. It is also rumored to be based on Noah's Ark and might hold all the auxiliary mechas.

Kaizoku Sentai Goukaiger's henshin device will be called Mobairets(Mobile + Pirates) and the legendary ranger figures that they'll use to transform to previous Sentai Senshis will be called RangerKeys. Primary weapons includes the GoukaiKen (sword) and GoukaiGun.

Kaizoku Sentai Goukaiger will be similar to Kamen Rider Decade wherein our heroes will meet the past Super Sentai senshis and villains. My Thoughts on Shake It Up

Disney Channel's 3rd live action newbie for 2010, Shake It Up, is getting to be great after 3 episodes (the 4th will be this Sunday) and it's no so bad at all. Combines elements from Lizzie McGuire (everyday life situations) and Hannah Montana (fame in a specific field) with a dash of Sonny with a Chance in the in-series show section, this series is off to a great start. so what do I think of it currently?

Like I mentioned awhile ago, the Series combines elements from both Lizzie and Hannah. in fact, both the Jones and Blue siblings are somewhat patterned after their respective sibling models. Cecilia "CeCe" Jones and Flynn Jones represent Lizzie and Matt McGuire, the latter being an exact lookalike of Matt as an 8 year old. Raquel "Rocky" Blue and Ty Blue represent Miley and Jackson Stewart, the latter being not that much of a jerk like Jackson was.

Since the girls do not have a "Sidekick" on the series, CeCe somewhat feels like Lilly Truscott while Rocky is a bit more like Miranda Sanchez. for the rivals of twin sibs Gunther and Tinka, which according to the creator is based off the Evans sibs from High School Musical, are more in the frenemies type. But they sometimes, when in enemy mode, They likely remind you of both Kate and Claire (if you're on Lizzie) or Amber and Ashley (if you're on Hannah). curiously, Gunther is a male Sharpay and Tinka the female Ryan. (Gender swapped, maybe?)

For the show itself, Most of the time it feels like Lizzie McGuire when the two are in everyday normal lives, but when they're on the in-series show (which is also the title of the main show as well), it's a bit Hannah in plot, despite that they don't have a secret identity and don't act like being over-the-top in their selves. the only exception being the episode where they treat Ty and Deuce to an expensive restaurant and then... their debit cards are dead. That plot was used in Hannah twice and this is a shout out to those episodes.

Since there's no girl sidekick, Deuce represents both Gordo and Oliver, and fortunately, no parings! probably because they have to stop doing the love angle for this show to avoid a mistake from Hannah- the "got together w/o development" thing the Hannah staffers did.

episodes wise, the show is awesome that you'll enjoy this show so much. both the show-made songs and the dance moves will have you loving it as well as the plots for the day. every episode title is formatted as "(plot point) It Up."

Finally, The OP of the show, while not sang by either Bella Thorne or Zendaya, is still catchy, and is even more great if you heard the full version on Radio Disney. did we mention it's sang by Selena Gomez? this makes Shake It Up the current Disney live-action show that the OP is not sang by the main character, following the lines of Lizzie McGuire, Phil of the Future and the Suite Life duology.

All in all the show maybe young, but the series is off to a great start. in fact, due to greater reception for the show, for New Year's Eve, the show's cast host it's year ender party celebration this year.

Here's hoping Shake It Up will do even better towards a great show everyone will love. Hannah Montana, you just found your Spiritual Successor!

-The Gokaiger's transformation item is apparently, the mini figures in conjuction with their belts. 5 CM sized, SD Red Ranger figures from past sentai are used to transform into those past rangers. The SD figs are kept in a basket on the belt, and then inserted into the belt to transform. Like W Gaia Memories, it seems the sounds are contained within the figures themselves.

-When inserting a past red figure the call sounds, "Change (Sentai Team Name)". For example, a Akaranger figure would sound the call, "Change Goranger!"

-Gokaiger colors are Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Pink. Yellow's actor is a woman, but she will have the power to assume male yellow rangers. (A little nod to Power Rangers perhaps?)

After a quite long tokusatsu news drought, here are the rumors circulating on the upcoming 2011 Super Sentai series: Kaizoku Sentai Goukaiger. Goukaiger is said to be a pirate-themed sentai that will have a definite influence from the hit anime series, One Piece.

Rumored staff for Kaizoku Sentai Goukaiger includes Utsunomiya Takaaki as Producer, Yamatoya Akatsuki and Inoue Toshiki for screenplay, and will be directed by Kanazawa Shoujirou.

Kamen Rider OOO OP, Henshin and Fight!

Finally, here's the highly awaited opening theme from the 12th Heisei Kamen Rider series, Kamen Rider OOO, entitled Anything Goes by Maki Ohguro. The single will be released on November.



Kamen Rider OOO just stated airing this morning and we can now finally see how Eiji Hino transforms and fight as a Kamen Rider, with the help of a floating hand named Ankh.



Kamen Rider OOO's default form, the first one he used is called TaToBa Form, a combination of Taka (hawk), Tora (tiger) and Batta (grasshopper). He then later used TakaKiriBa Form, which in turn a combination of Taka, Kamakiri (mantis), and Batta.

KR OOO's episode 1 synopsis

Since the 12th Heisei Kamen Rider series, Kamen Rider OOO, will debut on September 5, we finally got the confirmed and detailed synopsis on Episode 1: "Aah, my tomorrow!".

From Otona Fami:
A young man, who has lost his underpants and job, finds a mysterious medal. A monster like arm called Ankh picks the medal up. Furthermore, a different monsters shows up and the hunt for medals starts. Ankh, who is in a huge disadvantage, asks Eiji Hino to transform into Kamen Rider OOO.

The one from Newtype:
Eiji Hino, who is working as a part-time in an art museum as a security guard, has been drugged by 2 thieves by putting sleeping pills in his juice. He felt sleepy and decided to go to the security office. He wakes up when something hits his head. He sees that it's a Hawk Medal, he doesn't pay much attention to it since he thinks this is his payment as a part-timer. He changes clothes and takes off his pants only to hang them on the wall.

With Kamen Rider W's finale getting nearer, and casts and basic forms for Kamen Rider OOO revealed, all fans are hyped up to see the new Kamen Rider in action! Now, here are some more information regarding the 12th Heisei Rider.

Hino Eiji, 21 years old. A man without devotion or desire, and very little prospects for marriage. He's always wandering around and can't settle for a job. He's a "As long as I have some money, tomorrow and some panties, I am fine" kind of guy. However, when someones life is in danger he's always there to help. He got the OOO Driver from Ankh and with it, he's able to transform into Kamen Rider OOO.

The source ofKamen Rider OOO's power is by throwing in three O Medals into the transformer belt, the OOO Driver. The O Scanner will then have to scan the three medals to access the TaToBa Form: the power of Eagle's is the head, the power of Tiger's are the chest and arms, the power of the Grasshopper's are the legs. When he transforms a tune plays. By throwing in different O Medal combinations OOO can form change.

Kamen Rider OOO Statistics:

Kamen Rider OOO has a side-weapon called Medajalibur, a silver-colored sword. With the Tiger arms, he's able to use sharp claws called, Tiger Claw, as his weapon. His TaToBa form's special attack is called TaToBa Kick.


Ankh (left), one of the five Greed's who awoke from a long slumber. However, he is missing some medals so he can only transform his arm. He took the body of a dying police officer, Izumi. He's using Eiji to collect medals.

Izumi Hina (right), the sister of the police officer Ankh is possessing. She met Ankh and Eiji while she was working at a restaurant.


Ride Vender a vending machine that can turn into Kamen rider OOO's bike. It came from the Kogami Foundation. When OOO puts a Cell Medal inside the Ride Vender he's able to get various can-like support mechas called Can Droids. When he pulls the pull tab it slowly transforms.

Kogami Foundation is a foundation that is holding many assets. They develop various items such as the Ride Vender, Medajalibur, Cell Medals. They offer it all to OOO, their motives are unknown. The president of Kogami Foundation, Kosei, loves to bake cakes. His secretary, Erika, is always thinking about her diet.

It is rumored that Kogami Foundation has some connection on Kamen Rider W's Foundation X. But this is still not confirmed.


Greeds, from an 800 year slumber, 5 monsters have awoken. However, they were revived with an incomplete body. They are able to create weaker monsters called Yummy. They are created from humans desire. At birth they have a white body. After eating human desire, they start to grow. The picture is the Greed Uua and his Yummy, Kamakiri.

It's official! Kamen Rider OOO

First rumored to be Kamen Rider Regulus, then Kamen Rider Links, now, it has been already confirmed that the name of the 2011 Kamen Rider is Kamen Rider OOO. The name can be read as "Os" or "Ozu".

Kamen Rider OOO is an animal motif Rider and said to use Medals in order to change forms. His basic form will be called Tri-Form. Three other forms includes Sky Form, Field Form and Insect Form. With the use of the Medalialsword, he can be able to change forms, using 3 medals at a time.


If Kamen Rider W uses Memory Gadgets, Kamen Rider OOO will be having Medal Familia. It includes a set consisting of Hawk, Lion, and Kuwagata helper animals which can grow big and help him in combat.


Posted above is a compilation of rumored actors and theme songs for the upcoming series. I can't be so sure about their names but I seem to see Yumi Sugimoto (Engine Sentai Go-onger) there. Theme songs includes Generation sung by HYDE (opening) and Kamen Road sung by Ami Suzuki (ending).
