GoSeiKnight: origin, weapons and mech info

GoseiKnight New Info, Armaments and Mecha
As his debut comes nearer, brand new information about Tensou Sentai Goseiger's 6th Senshi: GoseiKnight have surfaced on the internet. These are aside from the previous ones that we shared a couple of days ago.

GoseiKnight is a mysterious soldier who doesn't even exist in the records of GoseiKai. His true form is that of the Groundion Headder. 10,000 years ago, he had fought for the Earth against the Yuumajyu. According to the Goseiger of that time, as a result of giving his power to the Earth, he was granted a "Super Evolution" and became GoseiKnight. He is the "Chikyuu wo Kiyomeru Sukuun no Kishi" (The Knight of Fate who will purify the Earth).

Gosei Ground
And by using the Knightick or "Naitick Power" (literally, the Power of Nothing/Nai) he is able to utilize all 3 Tribe's elements (Skyick, Landick and Seaick), and manipulate their TensouJutsu. He uses his LeonCellular to activate his GoseiCards, in place of a Tensouder. GoseiKnight has sworn to destroy anything that pollutes the Earth, and as such, when he first appears, he goes after a factory whose waste fluid is not being properly treated. This puts him at slight odds with the Goseigers.

GoseiKnight's personal weapon is the Leon Laser. It can transform from Gun Mode, to Sword mode, becoming the Leon Laser Sword. By combining the Leon Cellular and the Vulcan Headder with the Leon Laser, Knight transforms the gun into the Dynamic Leon Laser. In this mode, it can fire Knight's finishing move, the Knight Dynamic.

GoseiKnight New Info, Armaments and Mecha
When GoseiKnight transforms back into the Groundion Headder, he is able to turn into his own GoseiMachine, the GoseiGroundion (of Landick Tribe's powers). He also summons forth the Knight Brothers: Gosei Skyon, and Gosei Sealeon (of Skick and Seaick denomination, respectively), to help him in battle or combine with him to form Gosei Ground. His Victory Charge is called: GrounDrastic.

GoseiKnight will be voiced by Konishi Katsuyuki. The same guy who dubbed Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann's Kamina, Macross Frontier's Ozma Lee and Shaman King's Amidamaru.

Shinkenger and Maskman Nostalgia

Shinkenger had Maskman nostalgia like:

The whole show was laced with various martial arts although not as intense as Gekiranger. They were using bodily energies like the Maskmen were.

The thing is Takeru/Shinken Red reminded me of Red Mask, seeing both red rangers are named Takeru and almost have the same personalities. Mako/Shinken Pink reminded me of Momoko/Shinken Pink with their like for children. Mako had a little bit of Haruka/Yellow Mask but she's still more feminine and defensive like Momoko.

Doukoku like Emperor Zeba had a mean personality and a very short temper. Both villains planned to invade the surface world and turn it into a dark place. Both also knew of their fates- Zeba was destined to fall when the twin sisters reunited, Doukoku was destined to fall when the true head of the Shiba returned and these women however didn't finish them off but became the key to their downfalls.

Shitari was like Anagbas in Maskman, being the genius strategist and adviser. However we don't see Shitari die at the hands of the Shinkengers. He was supposedly killed when the boat drowned.

Juzo was somewhat like Kiros- a wandering warrior who had no real allegiance. He was a great threat to the Shinkengers.

Hannah Montana Forever (Season FINAL) PV!

Are you excited for it?

Kamen Rider... Joker?!

Kamen Rider Joker

Here's a look on Kamen Rider Joker. Based on the design, its like Kamen Rider W JokerJoker from the Kamen Rider Decade x W: Movie Wars 2010 movie. Obviously behind the mask is Shotarou! But the question is, where did he get Kamen Rider Skull's Lost Driver?

A Lovely Picture of Rin Takanashi with Tori Matsuzaka

While this photo was NOT in Shinkenger (hee hee) but for Shinkenger fans, hey I'd love to post it for them. This photo just looks LOVELY. KAWAIII!!!!

The 6th GoSei Tenshi: GoSeiKnight

Goseiger 6th Senshi: GoseiKnight
In the recent Data CardAss Dice-Oh game advertisement, they show a better view on Tensou Sentai Goseiger's 6th senshi, GoseiKnight. This image is has a much better front view shot than the previous ones.

According to recent rumors, GoseiKnight is a Gosei Header that gains ability to use a human form. More or less a "Header in Disguise." Based on the previous rumors we got, nothing has changed as of now, that he will debut as early as episode 17-18 arc or no later than early 20's.

Goseiger 6th Senshi: GoseiKnight
GoseiKnight's henshin device will be called Knight Power KaihouKi (Release Device) LeonCellular while his weapon is called LeonRazer, that have a sword and gun mode (very similar to most 6th senshi's weapons).

Thanks to JEFusion for more info about GoSeiKnight.

Goseiger 15- "DIEND" for Mons Drake

Goseiger 15 presents the end of Warstar or is it?

Mons Drake unable to accept any more defeats together with his sidekick Bladerun decide it's their final battle against the Goseigers. Things look grim as Bladerun pilots their battleship Invader in an attempt to destroy the Goseigers, storing the Earth's oxygen hoping to blow up the Earth. This creates a terrible situation nearly killing the planet.

It's one big giant battle that finishes them both or is it? Well if you remember Gaoranger, Org Highness Shuten was destroyed quite early and a new enemy appeared an episode after. On the other hand, Bladerun might have escaped. Who knows?

However it's too early to celebrate as the next episode presents a new enemy- is he a remnant of Warstar? Is there a more powerful enemy in store for them? Stay tuned! I hope Goseiger doesn't become too short!

Selena and Demi- back in good terms

What does being a BFF mean to Sel Gomez?: ‘I love when people are honest with me. I like to make sure they’re sweet, honest and just a good person.’ Sel said it’s important to appreciate your inner circle of friends:

‘I like to recognize the good friends in my life, like Jennifer, Demi and Taylor. I’ve been through so much, I appreciate them consoling me when I need it.’ On losing friends who haven’t treated her right: ‘I look at it as a blessing in disguise.

You don’t need that person if that’s how they are going to treat you. I’ve lost a lot of friends, but it made me see how my true friends are.’ On her future friendship: ‘Demi and I wanted to do a vacation together. I think we will in the future. I think it’s nice to get away with your best friend.’

Demi also talked about being teased in school because she was pursuing acting: ‘Everybody has an enemy, the girl who just doesn’t like you. I never go to do anything back to those girls until I wrote a song about it. In junior high I thought you had to fake it to be popular. You just have to take it with a grain of salt and move on. Be yourself!’

Seems like Selena and Demi are back :] that’s amazing to hear!

Why I Think Jetman is Considered Best by Sentai Fans

So far, it still kind of enters into my head why Jetman was my favorite Sentai WAY back or something... or why so many fans enjoyed Jetman. I think it had to do with the fresh writing that had happened within the whole series.

So okay, your spandex isn't new, swords aren't new, vehicles aren't new, robots aren't new and there were a LOT of old school elements... yet it seemed to be the best Sentai to many. I can't really think of a good reason except it was fresh and that it gave newer ideas to keep Sentai going and going.

I kind of considered Jetman's story telling to be unique. Why? Take the rangers for example. You have one professional ranger over four who aren't. For example, Ryu Tendo develops a rather long rivalry with Guy Yuki as both can't tolerate each other, which was soon intensified because while Guy Yuki liked Kaori Rokumeikan, she liked Ryu Tendo instead. Even comedy relief characters like Raita Ooshi and Ako Hayasaka (who had a "sibling" relationship) had serious moments. Drama focused the life of these characters especially with their strict but kind-hearted mentor Aya Ogadiri, who would be somewhat like Dr. Sylvie Pandora in Gatchaman II as well as the people around them, but not like as if Maskman didn't have it either.

The enemy was rather different. Instead of an organization united to get rid of the enemy, the four were divided amongst themselves, not really, Grey didn't care much about leading the others, he was Maria's bodyguard in some cases. On the other hand, Radiguet developed an unhealthy crush on Maria which in any case, developed a bizarre polygon between him, Ryu Tendo (when he discovers Maria is his girlfriend Rie) and Grey. Tran on the other hand for some reason was written off and became the de-facto ruler Tranza who plagued them for at least 10 episodes. This may have inspired the Negative Syndicate in Boukenger.

There were some bad guys that were short lived- Juuza was simply a guest villain played by Junko Takahata (who was famous for playing the role of Maribaron in Black RX and Lady Reiko in the Robocop series Janperson) as she was the former empress of Vyram but she only lasted for two episodes. I wonder why it happened. Also, we have the emergence of the "Ashu" in the show, Mu, Ramu and Gogu. Mu lasted for one episode, Ramu and Gogu for two episodes which they are an enemy different from Vyram which may have later inspired the Ashu of Boukenger. These short-lived villains may be pilots but they were super dangerous that later Sentai got fresh with their types lurking around later.

I think the equipment were kind of given a back story in this way- for example the Fire Bazooka was necessary because the monster has caught many people and it's the only way to save their teammates. Another was the Beak Smasher which had a touching story of a father and a daughter, when a daughter finally understands that her father never left her and that she was entrusted with the patterns because she can be trusted.

Perhaps the best parts have to deal with the relationships of the characters heroes and villains alike as well. For example, Ryu Tendo has developed a rivalry with three rival officers in Vyram namely Radiguet (who he shares an instinctive rivalry with), Tranza (rival at first appearance but theirs isn't as significant) and with Maria because she is in conflict with herself. Guy Yuki for some reason developed a rivalry with Gure while Maria's rivalry with the female rangers is anything but new though. Also, it's nice to see how the Jetmen mature especially how Guy Yuki becomes a more likable character when he realizes Ryu Tendo was going crazy after discovering Rie and Maria are the same person.

Or maybe it's because it focused so much on reality (but as if Sentai doesn't). In fact, the missing lover scenario has been twisted into something more tragic- that is because this missing lover Maria was brainwashed by Vyram and that in the end, after a long battle, she dies as she is killed by Radiguet. However despite these serious elements, the show did also have some of your everyday comedy instead of slapstick ones, like how Ako Hayasaka is kind of a whiner (I have a friend who whines like she does) and how Ryu Tendo also displayed a comical side when Guy Yuki and Raita Ooshi tricked him into falling the ladies' area, rather than comedy that doesn't happen in real life like not getting a injury after being hit by a frying pan out of suit.

Or maybe the best part of this series was how Ryu Tendo and Radiguet's rivalry went deeper more than anything else, something I believe that also inspired Dairanger's Ryu vs. Shaddam or much later, Boukenger's Satoru Akashi vs. Ryuon. In fact, Radiguet's deep hatred deepened along with the marks that they left on each other and how Ryu Tendo was nearly killed out of his desire for revenge and how in the end, he saw the difference between justice and revenge.

And because of Jetman, newer Sentai writers are inspired to think more originally even if they can't duplicate the charm this show has.

Kazunari Hirota as a Martial Arts Teacher

Here are some photos of Kazunari Hirota as a martial arts teacher. Here's Blue Mask demonstrating more of swordsmanship since Hikari Sentai Maskman ended up to the time these photos were taken. :-P

Too bad though he never appeared in Dairanger or Gekiranger even as a guest. BTW I wonder who he's married to if he ever is?

Demi... gone crazy?

Sonny With A Chance of going absolutely freakin' bonkers.
In the clip below (a preview of an upcoming Grey's Anatomy episode called "Shiny Happy People"), you'll see a whoooole different Demi Lovato than you've come know and love: The actress plays a paranoid schizophrenic girl who is so nuts and tries to claws her eyes out!
The episode airs next Thursday, and we already can't wait for it.

Demi Lovato's "little" car accident

Hmmm. Maybe it's not such a good idea to drive while drowsy.
This morning, Demi Lovato tweeted the shocking news that she got into a fender bender! "Today hasn't started off so great... I was so sleepy this morning I got in my first little accident in my car. :( blahhh"
Lest you worry about poor DL, she quickly added, "To everyone who asked, yes - I'm totally fine! Thank you! Haha just was a huge bummer.. :/"

No word on whether her car was just as lucky.

Thanks to HM Disney Stars for this.

How I Really Thought of Shinkenger

Okay it's been awhile since Shinkenger ended but I really think that the whole series is really action packed although I don't count it the best as to berate Power Rangers RPM with it (they're NOT even parallel translations, so why use Shinkenger?). True there may be better Sentai like Dairanger in the 90s and Dekaranger in the 2000s but the show I think may not be surpassed by Goseiger, even if Goseiger will do well.

The plot was kind of not exactly original but more "spiced up". My first thoughts were like it was a fusion of ideas from Maskman (you've got Takeru too), Kakuranger (the Japanese myths) and well kind of Dairanger (but not as great though :-P). And I'm to say even the first few episodes were better than Goseiger, Goseiger is kind of a show my 18 year old sister would enjoy.

The heroes:

I think the characters are kind of likable especially Takeru/Shinken Red. Okay he may share the same name with Red Mask as Takeru, both may be likable characters, a jerk in some way but he's way more badass and an interesting character. Why? Well that's because there's just something about Shinken Red we don't know of until the series progresses. On the other hand, Red Mask was too focused on his love story with Ial.

Mako well she's really likable despite the fact she's a horrible cook. I kind of just got disappointed on how her interactions with Takeru don't materialize so well. She was almost like Pink Mask in a way. Chiaki well, he's less of a rebel ranger and not one to irritate me much compared to how Guy Yuki was in Jetman at the early part. There's not much to talk about Ryonusuke and Kotoha for me except they're just your average Sentai characters, except that it took a long time for Kotoha to use the battlizer while the others did. BTW Ryonusuke is a reference to Blue Ranger WAY back in Goranger being a blue archer!

Genta was kind of interesting. Well he's a funny guy but I like him (although Shinken Red is my favorite) especially how a simple sushi chef turns into a superhero. He adds comedy to the show because when something gets too dark (like how I found Liveman to be), I kind of won't enjoy the series. His friendship with Takeru is another backstory was rather interesting too especially how he got ousted and returned back as a Shinkenger. I always imagined him as "X-1 Mask" in the show because he helped pull the Shinkengers out of trouble during the first henshim.

Of course Daigoyou the "seventh ranger" was an interesting fellow. It's kind of funny how he's got an activation switch on his buttocks.

The "eighth ranger" is Kaoru, the true head of the Shiba clan. Although she was an interesting character, too bad she never fought with the Shinkengers for the finale. I kind of find this backstory needing a LOT of explaining why she decided to let Takeru come back and become the red ranger again.

The mecha:

The series' mecha for me is kind of toyish at first. I kind of got reminded of Battle Fever J with the Shinken Oh. The add ons were okay except for the Kajiki Origami which had a rather dumb finisher- would prefer the sky drop attack of Heavy Armor Chi Palace from Dairanger any day which flattens opponents. The funniest combination has to be Tenku Shinken-Oh with its bulky design- how can the stuntman do it?

I liked the mecha of Genta best especially the Ika Origami and Ebi Origami. Ebi Origami has to be the coolest robot in the bunch with its robot mode as Daikaioh. Also, the combination between Shinkenoh and Daikaioh as Daikai Shinkenoh is radical- better than that rather funny Tenku Shinkenoh which nearly made me drop the show for awhile. The other four mecha that aren't combined into this become a rather big cannon.

Mougyudaioh reminds me too much of Gingaman's Bull Taurus mecha. Not really that fascinating. However he's essential to forming Samuraihaoh the "Ultrazord" of the series which is way bigger and bulkier than the rest. However I like Engine G12 better though. :-P

The villains:

I find the villains to be much like a combination of Tube and Youkai. They are not one-sided, even there are interesting plots that brew between them.

For example, Emperor Doukoku has a history of wanting to drown the world in darkness, he is merciless and he's much like Emperor Zeba in personality except he doesn't turn out to be just a monster of week. Like how? He is insane and hates all humans alike. He has a huge hatred on the Shiba house for sealing him away and he returns to ensure his revenge is complete. And of course, the battle with him was too intense as to LITERALLY destroy the mecha. Hmmm Sentai may need more destroyed mecha. Hee hee.

Dayu is kind of a tragic villain with a bitter love story, her selfishness destroyed her. Hmmm again we're taught tragedy should either be our path to light or to darkness. She has an interesting rivalry with Shinken Pink as well as gaining another tragic lover in Juzo. Of course, she was one of those villains that died a sacrificial death for their leaders which kind of was like how Oyobur sacrificed himself as a last act of loyalty to Zeba.

Shitari- well I think he's like Anagubas in Maskman, being a knowledgeable and all guy. He is fiercely loyal to his master and hides the dark secrets of the emperor himself. He also was the one to discover that Takeru was adopted and Kaoru was the real heir when he intended to kill Takeru. His death though was kinda lame. Wish he died in battle than drown in a ship. Maybe he survived.

Juzo well he's an interesting character. He seems to combine the characters of Baraba and Kiros- both rivals to Red Mask. Why? Like Baraba he scoffs and like Kiros, he has no real alliance with anybody. Like Dayu who becomes a monster out of sinful nature, so does he. He however has an honorable way of doing things, even to make sure that Takeru doesn't die so easily in combat. He carries a sword forged by his family's desire for him to stop his bloodlust, a source of his self-contradictory side. He and Shinken Red had plenty of "Chinese action" moments despite the show being of Japanese motif. He was also involved with stopping Akomaru's plan which the Shinkengers benefited. When Takeru finished him in battle (which happened after Takeru was ousted for awhile), his bloodlust ended and he fades away to the afterlife for judgment.

Akomaru well, well spoke as a traitor to the emperor. I kind of think he was an interesting guy because he plotted to overthrow the emperor. So maybe another "Kiros" character. He recruits Juzo and Dayu to assist him, only to fail in his plans. He planned to open the world to the Netherworld but failed, eventually he was destroyed laughing as his request was granted, as his death helped fuel the portals to their open, that is the opening of the gates of the Netherworld.

Combat scenes:

Combat scenes have NEVER gotten more ridiculous since Dekaranger. Why? I think battling the foot soldiers the Nanashi enlarged will complicate damages for the city more than ever. Also, they are way more awesome in human sized battles than the giant battles. I think the best fight has to be the final battle between Takeru and Juzo as it focused on them.

Overall:

Okay the show's GREAT for me but not everybody may like it. In fact, they may like the better predecessors. Also, I kind of got disappointed that Takeru and Mako never materialized, even if there were hints of them being a couple. I just hope they get together soon. :-P Also, I really would say that you should check out the show if you like martial arts based Sentai and also try checking Dairanger, Kakuranger, Hurricanger and Gekiranger and decide which is the best martial arts Sentai.
