Kamen Rider Accel Returns: more info

As the release of the direct-to-video special, Kamen Rider W RETURNS: Kamen Rider Accel draws near, here's the confirmed movie plot. We also have a glimpse of the Masked Soldiers and the Commander Dopant.


In Kamen Rider W RETURNS: Kamen Rider Accel, Ryu Terui saved a girl named Aoi Kuzuki (played by Yukari Tani) from an attack caused by the Masked Soldiers. Suddenly, the Commander Dopant shows up to take something from Aoi, but she doesn't have that thing anymore. Commander Dopant places a time bomb on Aoi and frames Terui.


The police are now after both of them and they'll have to flee together. Akiko later finds out that Terui is fleeing with another woman. Terui fell for a trap and he has now lost the Accel Memory. He'll now have to have to use his fists and his gun to fight. Will he be able to shake this pinch off?


Akiko, suddenly pissed on what's happening, thinks there something between Aoi Kuzuki (far left) and Terui. She shows up with official divorce registration papers (2nd left).

Kamen Rider W RETURNS: Kamen Rider Accel will be released on April 8.

As 2010 finally ends this year, It finally all comes to a close. now it's time to lookback at stuff that happened in both the World of Disney Channel and the World of Tokusatsu.

1. A year of Cool, epic new shows

That 2010, We were treated to cool shows like Tensou Sentai GoSeiger, Good Luck Charlie, JONAS LA, Shake It Up and Kamen Rider OOO. Shake It Up brought back the Lizzie McGuire formula of everyday tween problems and situations while mixing elements from Hannah Montana and Sonny With a Chance, while Kamen Rider OOO brings forth the rider with the most forms via medals. Good Luck Charlie reintroduces the formula of a normal family first found in Even Stevens (in fact, it's been 10 years since Stevens) while Tensou Sentai GoSeiger, brings back powered protectors (last seen in Boukenger), no "all mechas combined" formation (since Gekiranger), and a no identity 6th Ranger since Hurricanger.

2. The movies that excite us

2010 is another reason for movies and such. Toku movies like Super Hero Time: The Movie 2010 (Kamen Rider W FOREVER A-Z: The Gaia Memories of Fate and Tensou Sentai GoSeiger: Epic on the Movie), Ultraman Zero The Movie, The Cho Den-O Trilogy movies, and Kamen Rider Movie Wars Core exicted toku fans, while Disney Channel Original Movies like 16 Wishes, Avalon High (pictured above), StarStruck, Den Brother and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam were the servings of that year for tween viewers. Disney Stars got in the act too in the big screen, with  Zac Efron's Charlie St. Cloud and Selena Gomez's Ramona and Beezus leading the pack.

3. The lucky number 18

2010 was also the year 3 Disney Girls finally turned legit in the eyes of most of their boy fans. Starting with Selena Gomez (July 22), then Demi Lovato (August 22), and finally Miley Cyrus (November 23), these 3 finally bloomed. The only guy that was the same age of them this year, who also turned legit too, was Nick Jonas.

4. The time their shows say goodbye

In the episode shooting part of their shows, Both The Suite Life on Deck and Hannah Montana Forever ends their filming of episodes on their last day of shooting their last episodes. Kamen Rider W, on the other hand, while their filming of the show was already over, finally bids farewell that August 2010. however, their adventure is not over yet, as evidenced in Movie Wars Core.

5. The crumbling of Miley and Demi's World

The year that they became 18 was also the year things didn't go well for them. Miley had much a problem from dressing provocatively to her parents finally divorcing. Demi on the other hand, lost her boyfriend (Joe Jonas) to Ashley Greene, her friend died (not Selena, fortunately), and because her bad past caught up with her, ended up punching her backup dancer and threatening Ashley, all leading to her going to rehab to heal herself. but it got worse when her haters banded together and started brining up false rumors to bring her down.

As we finally say farewell in a few hours (some countries may have been already finished celebrating New Year's Day), it's time to let go of the bad memories of that year and bring with us the happiest ones for this year. in 2011, We have lots to look forward too, like the upcoming Kaizoku Sentai Goukaiger, the Sentai version of Kamen Rider Decade, Demi Lovato's comeback, and Hannah Montana's final episode.

so 2010... We'll miss you.

Movie Wars CORE starts @ no.1 spot

This year's Movie Wars film has exceeded every tokusatsu fan's expectations. Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider OOO & W feat Skull: Movie Wars CORE debuted on #1 at the box office this weekend!

According to Eiga, Movie Wars CORE defeated four other opening movies namely Tron: Legacy (#4), Shrek Forever After (#5), Saigo no Chuushingura (#6), and Burlesque (#9) for the top spot. Other movies included on the top 10 are Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I (#2, 5th week), Space Battleship Yamato (#3, 3rd week), Norweigan Wood (#7, 2nd week), Bushi no Kakeibo (#8, 4th week) and Robin Hood (#10, 2nd week)

As far as my info goes, Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider OOO & W feat Skull: Movie Wars CORE is the third Heisei Kamen Rider movie to grab the top spot on its opening weekend. I'm still researching on the first two movies. They are Kamen Rider Den-O & Kiva: Climax Deka and Kamen Rider Decade: All Riders vs Dai-Shocker.

Kamen Rider W will return?

Good story, ending good have not stopped this duo. Ready or not, our two-in-one Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider W, will be back to give us more hard-boiled adventures. Well, sort-off...

It is currently rumored that Kamen Rider W will be back on a two-part V-Cinema, a direct-to-DVD movie special. First part will feature Kamen Rider Accel who faces a crisis and fought a Dopant using his new form. And the second part will be a story about Daido Katsumi (Kamen Rider Eternal) and how he formed NEVER.

As of now, nothing is confirmed. But according to DecaEnd, there are high chances that the Kamen Rider W V-Cinema will be true since he got the rumor from the same guy who posted rumors about Maki Kiyoto in Kamen Rider OOO and OOO SaGoZo's ability which were later confirmed.

OOO and W Movie Taisen title comfirmed

To those who remembered, it was announced after Kamen Rider W FOREVER: A to Z - The Gaia Memories of Fate that there will be an upcoming Movie Wars film this December. Now, the title of the film is now confirmed! It will be Kamen Rider X Kamen Rider OOO & W feat. Skull: Movie Taisen Core.

The film is said to premiere this December 18. Aside from that, you can order some merchandise related to the film as early as December, but this is not our main focus for this film. Early rumors circulating about how the film will be like, and here are some of them.

- Phillip uses the Lost Driver to transform into Kamen Rider Cyclone. Akiko transforms into Skull. Terui is on a business trip.

- Sokichi's first request was to stop a bomb in Futo. The story how he obtained the Lost Driver will finally be told. A young Akiko will appear.

- OOO finds an armor medal a sword medal.

- The final enemy is a Dopant who finds a medal. Skull, Double and OOO will cooperate.

- Kamen Rider Baasu appears. He uses an installation henshin system. Baasu's eyes are not circular, but U shaped, (colored black) and he looks very original, something unlike any other hero before. The lower half of his "U" eyes glow red, and he almost resembles Hakaider, complete with a capsuluar head.

- Sonozaki Fumine (Shroud) and Narumi Soukichi are childhood friends.

- Their partner seems to be played by Tarou Yamamoto (or this could be the character's name)

- "San Dopant" is mentioned, as are Bat and Spider.

- The movie will be more serious than comedic, and it seems as though it will bring Akiko to a darker place as well.

Aside from that, we have found some early production photos for the upcoming film!

Seiji Tekaiwa in W HeatJoker suit fighting what seems to be a Dopant or Yummy Pterodactyl. It seems that the videos circulating of a possible OOO Dinosaur Medals are really true. But why is it to be purple?!

KR OOO's episode 1 synopsis

Since the 12th Heisei Kamen Rider series, Kamen Rider OOO, will debut on September 5, we finally got the confirmed and detailed synopsis on Episode 1: "Aah, my tomorrow!".

From Otona Fami:
A young man, who has lost his underpants and job, finds a mysterious medal. A monster like arm called Ankh picks the medal up. Furthermore, a different monsters shows up and the hunt for medals starts. Ankh, who is in a huge disadvantage, asks Eiji Hino to transform into Kamen Rider OOO.

The one from Newtype:
Eiji Hino, who is working as a part-time in an art museum as a security guard, has been drugged by 2 thieves by putting sleeping pills in his juice. He felt sleepy and decided to go to the security office. He wakes up when something hits his head. He sees that it's a Hawk Medal, he doesn't pay much attention to it since he thinks this is his payment as a part-timer. He changes clothes and takes off his pants only to hang them on the wall.

Relation of X and Kogami Foundations

It is recently confirmed in the latest episode of Kamen Rider W, Episode 47: The Abandoned U/A Request From Philip, that there's a big connection between Foundation X and Kamen Rider OOO's Kogami Foundation.

According to the pic above, it is the Foundation X who created the Medals (Core and Cell Medals in the pic) for Kogami Foundation at a price of $43.25 Billion. This means that Foundation X is the one backing up and funding Kogami Foundation in creating Greeds and Yummies, like how they did with Kamen Rider W's Museum.

According to sources, this might be a hint that Kamen Rider W and OOO stands on the same world and timeline, far from the other Kamen Rider series.

Kamen Rider W has a lot of homages from past Kamen Rider shows, heck I even compiled some of those homages back then! With the upcoming Kamen Rider W film, I finally notice the Kamen Rider BLACK homage in W's design thanks to Kamen Rider Joker. Here's a checklist of W's BLACK homage.

KR W Cyclone Joker Gold Xtreme debuts on KR W Forever

Yes, you are seeing it right. Kamen Rider W will have another upgrade, yet again. But this time, it will be a movie exclusive upgrade. It will be called Kamen Rider W Cyclone Joker Gold Xtreme.

Kamen Rider W Cyclone Joker Gold Xtreme acquires wings that gave him the ability to fly. It will debut on Kamen Rider W FOREVER: A to Z Gaia Memory of Destiny during Double's fight against the powerful villain, Kamen Rider Eternal.


Double accessed Kamen Rider W Cyclone Joker Gold Xtreme form via the people's powerful desires and hopes combined that he will defeat Kamen Rider Eternal in the climax of the movie. In the scan above, most of Shotarou's previous clients are shown.

KR Eternal rocks Anime Expo '10

Singer and actor, Matsuoka Mitsuru who served as vocals of the band, SOPHIA was in the Nokia Theatre, Los Angeles last July 3. The place was the venue for Anime Expo 2010 in which he was invited and got the chance to "henshin" into Kamen Rider Eternal who appeared in the upcoming Kamen Rider W Forever: A to Z Gaia Memories of Fate as Daido Kasumi.

Matsuoka is in Kamen Rider W as the villain movie Rider, Kamen Rider Eternal, for the upcoming film which will be screened in 3D. The said Rider appeared on stage who sang the theme song of the film, "W (Double)." Usually being live, SOPHIA is known not to answer encore but during the performance, they accepted the request with the said song being played again. Nokia Theatre is well known as the venue of the Academy Awards. That stage had Matsuoka replaced when the stage black-out for the interlude of the song with the dashing Kamen Rider Eternal appearing. Furthermore, in this scene announces Rider Kick to American fans and the intensity of the venue reached its peak.


Kamen Rider W and Matsuoka which moved to the convention center and got the chance to meet cosplayers and otakus. While pulling his heroic pose for the camera he said, "For anime fans at first I was anxious in communicating about Japanese music and culture. But being able to introduce Kamen Rider who represents Japan to American fans, I feel very delighted."

Kamen Rider W Forever: A to Z Gaia Memories of Fate premieres on theaters this August 7.

Super Hero Time The Movie 2010 trailer

The official movie website of Kamen Rider W Forever: A to Z Gaia Memory of Destiny and Tensou Sentai Goseiger: Epic on the Movie has just released a really good full-length trailer.



In Kamen Rider W movie, Shoutaro and Philip takes on NEVER and Kamen Rider Eternal to prevent them from turning Fuuto into Hell. While in Tensou Sentai Goseiger movie, the Gosei Angels hunts the remaining Warstars as they search for the Ragnarok's Horn, a weapon that could ruin Earth.

Super Hero Time The movie '10 presscon

A press conference for the upcoming Kamen Rider W and Tensou Sentai Goseiger movie was held on Tokyo Kaikan, Yurakucho, Tokyo. The two films will have a simultaneous release this summer and both will have a 3D screening.


Tensou Sentai Goseiger: Epic on the Movie
Super Sentai's 34th show Tensou Sentai Goseiger. Five people from the Gosei World came to Earth in order to protect it, they are called Gosei Angels. The actor of Gosei Red, Yudai Chiba says, "This is the first time I appear in a movie, I wish I could run through the action scenes."


Kamen Rider W FOREVER: A to Z Gaia Memory of Destiny
Kamen Rider W film Director, Koichi Sakamoto (best known for his Stunt Direction in Power Rangers) says, "The timeline of this movie is set right before the end the TV series." The TV series has a linked development.

The actors of Shotaro and Phillip from Kamen Rider W, Renn Kiriyama and Masaki Suda said: "Usually, Phillip is just behind Shotaro. This time it's the opposite, Shotaro will be more of a support for Phillip." (Kiriyama) and "This time, it's about the growth of Phillip. I feel like I have more responsibility. The movies will be released in Japan on the 7th of August.
