Demi Lovato has been hard at work recording her new album, which hits stores September 20th, and now she's back in the studio writing with Chord Overstreet! Demi just tweeted "In the studio writing with @chordoverstreet :)"  Chord has been seen out publicly with girlfriend Emma Roberts, so the relationship between Chord and Demi is strictly platonic!

Nick Jonas: "Skyscraper" is great

Nick Jonas revealed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that he thinks Demi Lovato’s new single “Skyscraper” is “great.” Here’s what Nick said when he was asked if he had heard Demi’s new song:

"I have. It’s a great song, she played it for me a while ago, it’s great."

Demi Lovato's 3rd album is near completion!

Wow! That was fast! Demi Lovato has been mentioning over the past couple of weeks that her album is in the works and that she expected it to release early, but we had no idea it was just about done! Here’s what Demi Tweeted just this week:

"Just realized my album is almost finished and is coming out so soon….. wow… my mind just exploded with excitement/nerves/joy/happiness!!"

We can’t wait to hear Demi’s new music! What about you?

Joe Jonas wants to be friends with Demi Lovato again

A number of reports have surfaced online about Joe Jonas giving an interview stating that he would like to be friends with Disney star Demi Lovato again. Although, we haven’t seen either star try to connect with the other, so we won’t believe this rumor quite yet!
Joe and Demi broke up during the Jonas Brothers / Camp Rock 2 summer tour and Joe immediately jumped into a relationship with “Twilight” star Ashley Greene, with Ashley visiting Joe during the tour and putting their relationship very much in Demi’s face. By the end of the tour Demi found herself at a treatment center and shortly after Joe broke up with Ashley.

Demi Lovato is always welcome @ So Random

Celebuzz got to hang with the cast of Disney’s hit show So Random! Tuesday, many of whom you probably recognize from Sonny with a Chance. 

Demi Lovato announced in April she wouldn’t be returning to the hit show so she could focus on her recovery and her music (So Random! is the revamped version) and the cast holds no grudges about Lovato’s departure.   

“I just had dinner with her two nights ago, she came over and we cooked,” So Random! star and former Sonny star Tiffany Thornton told us. “She’s one of my best friends we’re still super close!”  

As for Demi’s reaction to the show continuing without her?   “She’s excited for us,” Tiffany said genuinely. “[Demi]’s excited that when she went off to do music and focus on herself, that we still have this. We’re a family. I know she misses being here, but I’m super proud of her for everything she’s done.” Plus, it sounds like Demi has put her time to good use!  “I heard previews of her new stuff, it’s amazing,” Thornton eagerly told Celebuzz. “It’s so good, I’m excited.” 

Tiffany’s So Random! costar Allisyn Ashley Arm said that Demi is always welcome back. Especially since each episode features a new musical guest!  “It would be so awesome to have Demi back here. She was so much fun to have on set for two seasons. I really hope she can come back and do a musical performance.”  

We like that idea too!  Everyone be sure to check out So Random! when it premieres on the Disney Channel June 5th. You won’t be disappointed!

Demi Lovato says goodbye to Sonny with A Chance

After leaving treatment for "emotional and physical issues" in January, Demi Lovato has returned to her usual life -- hanging with friends and family and recording music. But there's one part of her life she will be leaving behind -- her show, Sonny With A Chance.
"It made sense for me to go ahead and leave the show to focus on my music," Demi says. "It's kind of sad for me that a chapter of my life has ended but there couldn't be a better time for me to move on. I don't think going back to Sonny would be healthy for my recovery. Being in front of a camera would make me nervous."
Demi's announcement may not come as a huge shock to many because when Demi took a break from the show to focus on her recovery, her castmate Brandon Mychal Smith announced that the show was changing it's title to So Random, which would ultimately take the focus off Demi's character Sonny and put more emphasis on the sketch comedy show within the show. So as a result, rumors began to swirl that Demi would eventually announce her departure from Sonny.

Last night, March 25, 2011, former BFFs Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez caught up over dinner! Selena Tweeted the photo above and Demi Re-Tweeted it, along with writing:

The two haven’t spent time together in quite a while, but it looks as if they might have a strong future ahead of them!

On Tuesday evening, Demi Lovato sent her nearly 3 million loyal Twitter followers an unexpected Tweet: "Guess who's baaaaaaaack...!!!!!!!" 
The star's account @ddlovato had previously been deactivated since last October when she checked into a treatment center for "emotional and physical issues."

Sonny With A Chance Of... a name change?! 
Sonny With A Chance star Brandon Mychal Smith just revealed some surprising news: Since Demi Lovato's on a career break,Sonny will be taking the show within a show's title, So Random!  
"With a show like ours, and any great show that I've seen in the past, each season you focus on a different concept," Brandon explains. "...This season you'll be able to see So Random, see why we are where we are today in regards to being the teen idols that we are. You'll be able to see how we bring the funny every week."

According to M magazine, Demi Lovato was recently spotted at the Hollywood Records office. You know what that means: She's working on new music! 
So is she back on the set of Sonny With A Chance? Not quite. "Demi is recording music, but she's not back to set yet. She'll start shooting the show again when she's ready," a source commented. Awesome!
Take your time, D-- but don't leave So Random Demi-less for too long!

Demi Lovato receives a Certified Gold honor

Great news for Demi --she's received a Certified Gold honor for her album "Don't Forget!"
This achievement has been made by other young stars like Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift as well, so Demi joins them as one of the best musicians/performers out there!
Congratulations to Demi!!! This has to be encouraging to hear after the time she spent dealing with her emotional issues!

Demi- out of rehab, at last!

 
Well, this sure is a relief!
Demi Lovato has finally left the rehab center where she's been since October, and is now settling back at home in LA. 
A source tells Celebuzz that Demi will "focus first and foremost on her well-being" and will "continue to see doctors in LA who will help her work on the issues she confronted in treatment."
As you may recall, the pop star shocked everyone when she quit the Jonas Brothers tour in South America to seek help for "emotional and physical issues." 
Now it seems that — at last — she's ready to get back to her career. Says the Celebuzz insider: "[Demi] is so grateful to all of her fans for their unbelievable support and looks forward to being able to talk to all of them very soon."

Demi Lovato Thanks Fans

As you know, Dem's at a treatment center for "emotional and physical issues" and even though she missed to People's Choice Awards and Hot Hits Hottest Teen Stars of 2010, she wanted to write a message to her fans to thank them!
She released the message to Cambio and it said: "I wish to thank all the friends and fans who voted for me for the People's Choice Awards and the Hot Hits Hottest Teen Stars of 2010. I want to make sure my fans know how thankful I am for all their love, support and prayers during this difficult time. Thank you for standing beside me through it all."

Demi's Christmas break from rehab

 
Look who got some quality family time in!  
Even though sources were reporting that Demi Lovato wouldn't be able to spend Christmas with her fam bam, it looks like her rehab center changed its mind: Girl got a Christmas day pass! Awesome!
According to sources, Demi was spotted getting a bite to eat with her fam at a restaurant near the treatment facility on Christmas day and seemed "in good spirits."
So glad Demi got to spread a little Christmas cheer outside of rehab. Let's hope she gets better real soon!

As 2010 finally ends this year, It finally all comes to a close. now it's time to lookback at stuff that happened in both the World of Disney Channel and the World of Tokusatsu.

1. A year of Cool, epic new shows

That 2010, We were treated to cool shows like Tensou Sentai GoSeiger, Good Luck Charlie, JONAS LA, Shake It Up and Kamen Rider OOO. Shake It Up brought back the Lizzie McGuire formula of everyday tween problems and situations while mixing elements from Hannah Montana and Sonny With a Chance, while Kamen Rider OOO brings forth the rider with the most forms via medals. Good Luck Charlie reintroduces the formula of a normal family first found in Even Stevens (in fact, it's been 10 years since Stevens) while Tensou Sentai GoSeiger, brings back powered protectors (last seen in Boukenger), no "all mechas combined" formation (since Gekiranger), and a no identity 6th Ranger since Hurricanger.

2. The movies that excite us

2010 is another reason for movies and such. Toku movies like Super Hero Time: The Movie 2010 (Kamen Rider W FOREVER A-Z: The Gaia Memories of Fate and Tensou Sentai GoSeiger: Epic on the Movie), Ultraman Zero The Movie, The Cho Den-O Trilogy movies, and Kamen Rider Movie Wars Core exicted toku fans, while Disney Channel Original Movies like 16 Wishes, Avalon High (pictured above), StarStruck, Den Brother and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam were the servings of that year for tween viewers. Disney Stars got in the act too in the big screen, with  Zac Efron's Charlie St. Cloud and Selena Gomez's Ramona and Beezus leading the pack.

3. The lucky number 18

2010 was also the year 3 Disney Girls finally turned legit in the eyes of most of their boy fans. Starting with Selena Gomez (July 22), then Demi Lovato (August 22), and finally Miley Cyrus (November 23), these 3 finally bloomed. The only guy that was the same age of them this year, who also turned legit too, was Nick Jonas.

4. The time their shows say goodbye

In the episode shooting part of their shows, Both The Suite Life on Deck and Hannah Montana Forever ends their filming of episodes on their last day of shooting their last episodes. Kamen Rider W, on the other hand, while their filming of the show was already over, finally bids farewell that August 2010. however, their adventure is not over yet, as evidenced in Movie Wars Core.

5. The crumbling of Miley and Demi's World

The year that they became 18 was also the year things didn't go well for them. Miley had much a problem from dressing provocatively to her parents finally divorcing. Demi on the other hand, lost her boyfriend (Joe Jonas) to Ashley Greene, her friend died (not Selena, fortunately), and because her bad past caught up with her, ended up punching her backup dancer and threatening Ashley, all leading to her going to rehab to heal herself. but it got worse when her haters banded together and started brining up false rumors to bring her down.

As we finally say farewell in a few hours (some countries may have been already finished celebrating New Year's Day), it's time to let go of the bad memories of that year and bring with us the happiest ones for this year. in 2011, We have lots to look forward too, like the upcoming Kaizoku Sentai Goukaiger, the Sentai version of Kamen Rider Decade, Demi Lovato's comeback, and Hannah Montana's final episode.

so 2010... We'll miss you.

Demi spends Christmas with family outside rehab

After spending almost two months in a treatment center near Chicago for "emotional and physical issues," Demi Lovato got a pass to leave the center on Christmas Day so she could spend it with her family, who came to visit her.
Sources say that on her outing, Demi wore army boots, a leopard print coat, a black beret, and seemed to be in good spirits before returning to the center later that night. One gift that Demi got? A scrapbook from her little sister Madison, who was asking Demi's fan on Twitter to send her positive messages.
No word on when Demi will be released from the treatment center.

Demi Lovato to spend Xmas in rehab

Demi's been singing "I'll Be Home For Christmas," but it's looking like that won't happen, unfortunately.
Despite hoping to spend the holidays at home with her family, it's been reported that Demi Lovato will still stay at the rehab facility she's been in since November.
What a bummer!
